7 Tips to take care of the health of your legs

You take care of your body from head to toe. Masks for your face, exfoliation of hands or feet, but have you ever wondered if you are taking care of your legs correctly? Do you give them the care they need?

With our team of professionals at VVT we have prepared some infallible tips to take care of one of the most important parts of your body: your legs.

1.- Avoid being still for a long time, whether sitting or standing, try to do small stretches and walks of at least 10 minutes every 2 hours. This will improve your blood circulation in your legs.

2.- Go up and relax your legs when you get home. Make this a habit. Lie down on your bed and place them on a pillow or better against a wall for about 15 minutes. It may seem a bit tedious but it is super effective in preventing varicose veins.

3.- Reduce your salt intake, so you can prevent fluid retention, which translates into swelling and discomfort. Supplement your diet by consuming fruits, vegetables, and fiber.

4.- Exercise daily. If you don't have time, walking at least 30 minutes is enough to activate you and help the veins in your legs.

5.- Finish your daily shower using cold water, especially on the calves. At the end, massage yourself from the foot to the knee in an upward direction, to activate the blood return.

6.- Avoid tight clothing, pants and socks should be soft and preferably made of materials such as cotton.

7.- Hydrate yourself inside and out. Drinking water is excellent for your body in general. However, you can give your body a little help by using VVT to nourish and hydrate the skin on your legs.
